Google Summer of Code ☀️

Zarr is a format for storing chunked, compressed, N-dimensional arrays.

This repository contains valuable information about Zarr's Google Summer of Code participation.

Getting Started 🧑🏻‍💻

This guide illustrates a few steps that'll help you get acquainted with Zarr:

  • Check out the contributing guide and set up the development environment
  • Check out the Zarr tutorials here and run some examples
  • Check out the docs for detailed info
  • Additionally, go through the Zarr Storage Specification V2. This document provides a technical specification of the protocol and format used for storing Zarr arrays

You can start by going through the issues labelled as 'help wanted' and submit a PR.

Zarr participated in GSoC 2022 for the first time. After reviewing several applications, we shortlisted two contributors to work with us for Summer 2022. They are:
