Preserve histories of derived products. This supports division of work by a better understanding of the processes resulting in a geologic interpretation. It makes interpretations reproducible.

From the PanCam proposal:
Providing scientists with collaboration tools and metaphors for view sharing and bookmarks, preserving product histories, and supporting division of work.

For PanCam the following tasks should be completed:

• Consider data model for internship of Daniel Krottendorfer.
• Use source data (names, camera parameter in redundant coordinate systems) as part of meta-data provided by JR.

This will have a strong synergy with the PROVEX project that will start in the second half of 2021. It will provide a provenance and workflow management tool.
