Allow users to select dates from next/previous months that are rendered on the calendar #17

The calendar renders dates from the next and previous month, but these are selectable. In my user testing users have tried to tap these dates and think they are not available. Seems like it would be better if they could just be proxy's to the real dates.

We played with this a lot when designing the calendar initially; when we went to a scrolling design, it made less sense. Are you using the view with paging enabled?

yeah, so if I'm looking at April I see the first days from May as well. I also see the same, active dates, below the "May" header. The issue is that I've had a good number of users try and tap the May days on the April calendar without even letting their eyes scan past the "May" header.

Like I said, we tested out a design that included what you're suggesting and it led to more confusion, not less. I take it you're not using the view with paging enabled?

I guess not, I didn't know that was an option. I guess the best solution for us then is we'll find a way to hide those dates.

I'm not using with Paging enabled. I guess I could see that being confusing, but the existing choice (that they're not tappable) isn't ideal either. Did you try playing with a more overlapping, smooth-scrolling design?

I too am having issues with the paging and scrolling, as it is rather jumpy when multiple months appear in the view.
