Sam's Journey (NTSC) experiencing many graphics issues #21
Comments
NTSC Sam's Journey requires an REU, right? Are you using an REU?

Is it a native NTSC machine? I think the REU needs the dot clock signal to
be in phase with the system clock. So if it is an NTSC machine, try
changing the clock jumper to the mother board setting for NTSC .

I don't know how the Ultimate II+ handles RAM if Dynamic or Static but the 64 itself has original dynamic RAM chips.

Sam's Journey when run on a cartridge (CRT image, Ultimate, Kungfuflash, Backbit, even the original SJ game cartridge ) over an NTSC machine does not strictly need to use an REU, nevertheless, some minor glitches popups, it's not a big deal... game runs perfectly well. |

While I have not played it with the original chip I started playing Sam's Journey on my C64 with the Kawari (1.5 version) and it has enough graphics issues as to be unplayable.
Does anybody else have this experience or is it just me?
