Hi Russel,

I bought your book, and have given it quick read through about half way so far. I'm dying to analyze my mailbox, but the 'install -r requirements.txt' command fails while installing snappy (CentOS 6.5).

Any ideas? Thank you, Robert.

I got around this by install snappy from a link you provided back in 2011: http://code.google.com/p/snappy/downloads/detail?name=snappy-1.0.4.tar.gz

Once that's installed, snappy-c.h is found.

Thank you,

Robert

I was able to get past this step (installing snappy) by following instructions here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11416024/error-installing-python-snappy/20678150#20678150

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04, so I used:
sudo apt-get install libsnappy-dev
