Hello Everyone,
I had some time to start thinking about a Rust Bridge Logo. It would be nice to get feedback on the following two drafts.

Oh wow. I love both of these so much. Only thing I'd maybe think about improving is the typeface on the second one. The conceptual ideas brought to life in both are brilliant!

Really like what you did with the Rust logo there! Great work :)

For the second one, I find the 3D effect a bit too much, while the type face is too simple maybe? First one looks better. It's also easier to re-use in different designs because it's more square-shaped.

good work, both of them!

Personally, I prefer the 2D ish version over the one with 3D block--which certainly has an anachronistic coolness to it : )

with the 2d version i am not entirely convinced of the 'bridge' typo...
Just a first suggestion: could it be somehow combined/integrated with the black structure of the bridge...maybe even a B instead of an R??

Anyway, I'd love to use both of them as they are now!

😮 Really like the 2d logo a lot! Ready to wear the t-shirt. 😎

It's taken me a while to work out why the 3D was slightly jarring, I think it's because the type isn't align with the bridge structure i.e. isometric. Would it be possible to see what it looks like if it was?

I like the 2D logo a lot as well, although I think that the 3D one has some potential with a different font and maybe a bit less 3D. If that makes sense.

Cool, thanks all.
The font of the 3d version is Fira, which I thought was a corporate font around here :-)
It was in the design package that I received ...anyway.

I can throw these two in the mix too. But I think the term Bridge should be written out. Otherwise, it's just not very clear. So, I'm +1 for first version, the font used for Bridge is free to use, which is good too. Albeit, I'm still happy to iterate further.

Well, the B kind of logo was also suggested for Rust Berlin, that can lead to collisions...

Hah, really? That's Fira? Well I usually think Fira is a very nice font, but somehow I didn't particularly like it in that logo. 😁

I agree.

When I see r and b I think .rb as in Ruby. I love the color blue purple color blend
