About

I am a Ph.D. student in the group of Prof. Jan Brugues at Cluster of Excellence Physics of Life, TU Dresden.

I wonder how life builds itself from mixtures of biomolecules. Wandering at the intersection of physics, engineering, and biology,
I found my passion in exploring biological self-organization with interdisciplinary approaches.

I use soft matter/statistical physics and cell/synthetic biology to understand emergent structures in cells.
Currently, my research focuses on the energetics of intracellular organization using embryo and cell-free systems.
Previously, I worked with Yusuke Maeda to investigate the interplay of phase separation and gene expression using cell-free expression systems.
