Github Markdown Supports Footnotes, Markdown Viewer Does Not Support Footnotes #258

According to Github, GH Markdown supports Footnotes:
https://github.blog/changelog/2021-09-30-footnotes-now-supported-in-markdown-fields/

Markdown Viewer Supports GH Markdown, however it does not support Footnotes.

I am using https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/markdown-viewer/ckkdlimhmcjmikdlpkmbgfkaikojcbjk.

Can you check if you have the footnote option enabled:
