At first, I was confused about mapping, because there were man any it's not just
<C-n>
multiple times and that's it (and also because of #48). But the more I read, the more exited I got. Finally, *It's showtime*. So I pasted a bunch of similar lines next to each other (vertically) and successfully pasted another line above all the selections (great!). Then I yanked the selections to use later. And now, the final touch: replace a word from pasted line (same for each cursor) with yanked selections. But now I'm stuck (and disappointed, if it's not possible yet) as I can't move withk
andw
to the start of a replaceable word (I would create a new selection withk
). I also would have to select the replaceable word withve
and only then past previously yanked selections. Am I missing something, or this isn't implemented yet (it's suuuper useful!)?initial state
What I'm able to do so far:
gg0yyjjwvll<Leader>m8nee<C-[>P
screenshot after applied sequence
buffer content after applied sequence
I want to replace
St_SelectmodeText
from the pasted line with each yanked selection.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
