Contributing to SoftRF

Areas where contributions are welcomed by the project's developer:

  1. Quality Assurance
    • create and maintain F.A.Q. page
    • provide assistance by giving answers on incoming questions over SoftRF   Join the chat at https://gitter.im/lyusupov/SoftRF   Gitter channel
    • regression testing
  2. Research & Development
    • improvement of "legacy" protocol compatibility
    • improvement of Australia, South and North America channel hopping compliance
    • create, deploy for public use and maintain an SD card image, containing "ready-to-go" setup for Raspberry Edition
    • create and maintain WebUI for Raspberry Edition
    • add and maintain support for SoftRF in Stratux WebUI
    • tests development and maintenance
    • create and maintain UAS eID radio protocol implementaton
    • create and maintain goTenna Mesh radio protocol implementaton
    • create and maintain OGNTP-2 radio protocol implementaton
    • create and maintain MAVLINK V2 data link protocol implementaton
    • create and maintain data logger (in IGC format) for SkyView EZ
    • create and maintain settings menu UI for SkyView Pi and/or
    • design, produce and sell for less than 20 USD a "BoosterPack" for TI SensorTag LPSTK-CC1352R that contains
      • GNSS
      • display
      • Wi-Fi/BT/LE/USB adapter
      • pressure sensor
    • create and maintain cross-platform (Android and iOS) smartphone/tablet app to monitor status and change settings of the following SoftRF Editions
