I don't have opinions but right now all I can think of is a robot with square shapes and snake eyes. But really, anything should be fine by me. |

Going to throw in an old Dutch Gilder, purely as inspiration to ignore as the current generation wishes, but the bot's old, old, ooold versions were all named after the owner's dogs. Who doesn't like a cute pupper? |

@tyrope Me. I'm a cat person. 😜 But on a more serious note, both dogs and cats are pretty darn common. We should probably venture a bit further afield! (Away, too, from the obvious idea of a "snake because Sopel is written in Python". 😉) |

Just wanted to note that @CreatorUR offered to create a mascot character for Sopel. This tracking issue will be a good place to share ideas, concept art, etc. Current direction is a non-human and/or androgynous character, in keeping with the original (re)naming goal of "Sopel" being non-gender-specific.
