Hi, I'm Cocoa, and I'm a PhD student at the University of Glasgow. My research area mainly includes machine learning, computer vision and robotics.

I'd like to contribute to open-source projects and share my researches on GitHub. Currently (as of Dec. 2021), I'm working on evision, a project on OpenCV-Elixir bindings to fulfil my research goal.

I hope this project could (1) help anyone who wants to use OpenCV in Elixir, (2) vastly reduce the time on manually porting OpenCV to Elixir, and (3), last but not least, if we combine this project with other great Elixir packages such as Nx, Nerves, rclex and so on, then it is possible to build a decent computer vision and machine learning pipeline on robots using Elixir.
