Manages Perl installation and provides cpan_module, to install modules from… CPAN.

REQUIREMENTS:¶ ↑

This cookbook requires at least Ohai 0.3.0 to get the Perl language data:

Tested with Perl 5.8.8 and 5.10.0.

USAGE:¶ ↑

To install a module from CPAN:

cpan_module "App::Munchies"

Optionally, installation can forced with the ‘force’ parameter.

cpan_module "App::Munchies"
  force true
end
