Does increasing/decreasing these values make the algorithm more or less stringent? Notice significantly different outputs with slight changes to these.

As the distance & angle parameters increase, the search gets less stringent. Folddisco searches hashes with given distance/angle differences as well. I'll update the documentation with detailed explanation on parameters. Thank you for the question.
