After a Twitter chat with @konklone, I thought I'd add this feature request, such as it is.
I'm using Scout pretty heavily now and have a couple dozen saved alerts. My problem is that they are somewhat overlapping because many of them are synonyms.
I'd love to be able to combine separate searches on synonyms, say "prosecutor" and "district attorney" into a single search. Right now, I may get one email alert for prosecutor with 25 bills and another for district attorney with 19 bills, of which about 80 percent are repeated. It'd be awesome to get a single email that sends me updates on any bill (or report or opinion, etc) that includes "prosecutor" OR "district attorney" OR "attorney general," for instance.
Is this possible, and if so, is it something that @sunlightlabs is likely to take on?
Thanks in advance for considering it. I love the project and am using the hell out of it. Keep up the good work.
