Is this possible to remedy by package dependencies? Or does the user just have to know that you should have installed?
M-x el-get-remove <ENTER> c-xrefactory <ENTER>
and then at a prompt do something similar to
sudo apt install zlib-devel
and then retry
M-x el-get-install <ENTER> c-xrefactory <ENTER>
