First at all, thank you for uploading this kind of open access tool, with the example datasets and one of mine i get this error: "Index in position 1 is invalid. Array indices must be positive integers or logical values.", if there is any solution for that i will be gratefull in order to been able to try this tool with some datasets.

I'm glad to hear that you try this tool. Sorry for not continuing to update the code since then, so there may be some small bugs in there when running different datasets.
Regarding the error you mentioned, it seems like there might be an issue with the indexing of the array z. One possibility is that z is empty. Does your input rectangle dataset have a big no-data area?
