Possible ideas and future iterations:
Documenting them here for time being.

Sentence on member search page after page title explaining that this is searching through a defined vocabulary and it's not key word search?
Ability to select the type of member search. i.e. by member name, by postcode/constituency, by issue
Auto complete search functionality (possible implementation: https://designshack.net/articles/javascript/create-a-simple-autocomplete-with-html5-jquery/ )
