Font sizes in plot window are too large, arm mac binaries

This problem is there in 3.4.1 and also in 3.4.2

This is with the arm mac binaries.

The font sizes are too big and they go out of view also, see the picture.

Is it possible to adjust this ?

If I save the plot to a png file, the fonts look ok.

This happens for me also with the x86-64 Mac binaries, so I don't think it's an ARM-specific issue. I think the issue is that VTK is not adjusting the font size correctly on Retina / HiDPI displays. If I plug into an external non-HiDPI display, the font size is normal.

I don't think so. However, if you want to swap between two sets of settings, you might consider using the command recording feature to create a couple macros, one for each of your desired annotation settings.

If you have the Python equivalent of that line of code, you could save it to a script myscript.py and run VisIt with visit -s myscript.py.

On an LG monitor connected to my mac mini, I have the same issue. This is not a retina display.

Maybe it's a primary vs. secondary monitor issue. What is the output when you run system_profiler SPDisplaysDataType in the terminal?
