Migration rollup is merging multiple past pgroll migrations into a single migration file. Pgroll dumps the existing schema from your database into a pgroll migration file.

Use cases:

  • Initializing a database schema based on past pgroll migrations
  • Adding pgroll later to your existing database, you want an "initial" migration that can create the same database schema in a test environment
