Register does nothing

I tried this out on a couple of “phablets”. On each, libresignal defaults to its phone number on the first page, but hitting Regsister does nothing.

(The button changes colour to indicate the the press was seen, but nothing occurs beyond that.)

What should occur? And what should I look at/for to diagnose?

Same problem here.

If it makes a difference: I had the websocket version installed before. Couldn't upgrade from one to the other, so I uninstalled the websocket version and installed your fdroid repo 3.30.4
Also tried 3.30.1, but same result as jhcloos describes above.
I run an Android 5.1 version with everything googly deactivated.

Try it with latest version. I am building it from official Signal sources (only strings are changed from Signal to LibreSignal and now also update URL from https://updates.signal.org/android/latest.json to https://fdroid.eutopia.cz/updates/libresignal.json), so it should act exactly the same as official Signal.
