Using xmrMiner_0.2.1.exe on my machine, I get the error message:

The program can't start because cudart64_80.dll is missing from your computer.

Any ideas on a fix?

I believe that is correct. the CUDA set from Nvidia. I wouldn't redist that file on their behalf personally...

I downloaded and installed the cuda drivers and it still does not work for me.

You can just put that cudart64_80.dll in the same folder as your miner.exe and it works even if you already have the latest nvidia drivers installed.

You have installed CUDA 9 for sure. Try to install toolkit 8 ( https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-80-ga2-download-archive )

FYI, Halfbax's link above ( to nvidia's CUDA Toolkit 8.0 - Feb 2017 ) is the one to use, to ensure you get the right file. Just download the base installer for your operating system, extract it using 7-zip or Winzip (ie. no need to install the whole thing, assuming you already have your nvidia graphics card drivers installed), and copy the cudart64_80.dll file into the same directory as xmrMiner_0.2.1.exe. For the Windows 10 package, it is located under cuda_8.0.61_win10\cudart\bin. That's all you need to do to fix this error.

The link that jeffstokes72 provided will take you to nvidia's latest CUDA Toolkit download (currently version 9.1), which probably won't have the DLL that you will need to get this working.

See my post two items above. The correct place to "download the DLL" is from nvidia's CUDA Toolkit 8.0. The link to it is above. If you are downloading the DLL separately, you're probably getting it from an untrusted, third-party source. You are much more likely to get malware along with it, then. What does that mean? All of the Monero you mine using it might get taken from you when the people behind the malware skim your wallet seed phrase and empty your wallet. Or worse. Don't download DLL's from untrusted sources.
