First of all, thank you very much for your great work. Different character subjects often have different body proportions, and I would like to know what is the most reasonable way to handle this issue.

Thanks for your interest! We use SMPL(X) to represent "character", which models shape variation by setting different betas. And GVHMR predicts the beta according to input video.

Does the original data contain information about bone length, or is the length of the limbs determined by the various fbx models used for rendering?

The betas-value in the prediction determines the bone length.
