Hi Artur, this is not release ready by any means so please don't merge. I just wanted to show you an idea I had for discussion purposes. See what you think, you can zoom by mouse wheel, etc.

Look forward to your thoughts.

In the medium term I'm actually interested in refining the user interface, I have an idea to make an information rich version for people like me who would like to see a lot more detail about the album and tracks they are listening to. But I suspect first the indexing script needs updating to pull all available metadata.

Cheers

Thanks for this, I try to look at it as soon as I finish my current task.

Thank you for your effort.

It indeed could be useful on desktops - for most of time I use mobile, where zoom is 'build in'.
I was rather thinking about a different solution for images - a kind of gallery, where user could browse images attached to album. This images could be placed in used-defined directory under album folder. For example I put additional images (and other files, like pdf) in [album folder]/Artwork. This pictures would be displayed in the same place where album cover - additional action would be added to left (previous image) and right (next image) part of images.

This is on my TODO list.

Regards,
Artur

I also wanted to explore a way to display extra art and especially pdf, often albums have interesting information that would be enjoyable to read while listening. Currently I just dump additional files into the same directory as the music, usually its just cover., back. and booklet.pdf when available.
I like you're idea of the left/right action, but I wonder if a zoom function may still be helpful when especially when looking at back images where small writing is used. This could be disabled on mobile views if there is no benefit although I found it worked on a small rpi touchscreen.
