I was asked to help a colleague with a data mnunging task. The goal was to scrape a web directory in order match a Medicare data list to information stored in directories about physicians and their organizational memberships. After matching their financial and patient satisfaction information to their group membership we can statistically analyze the impact of a physicians membership in each organization.
