Setup Android Studio

Step by Step Guide to get everyone with the same directory from the repository so there are no issues pushing and pulling later on.

NOTE: You may need to login to git through Android Studio at some point during these steps.

  1. Open Android Studio and Make sure to have SDK Android 5.0.1 downloaded and installed.(Lollipop-API21)

  2. Then go back to the opening menu of Android Studio and select the Check out project from Version Control-> GitHub

  3. Input this link https://github.com/jevietti/DealBreaker.git into Git Repo URL Then choose your Directories

  4. Hit CLONE!

  5. After hitting clone it will ask you ot open it go ahead or close it doesn't matter if you open it now there will be an error message don't worry about it. 👍

  6. After closing out the project go back to main menu and select Open an existing Android Studio Project.

  7. From there navigate to the file path you saved the project in you should see an android studio icon open it, (it will be the directory name you chose when cloning).

  8. Wait for it to build add the root from the popup and your up in running. 👍 💯
