Features:

Prerequisites

• Node.js
• PostgreSQL

Installation

• Clone the repository
• Install the dependencies:

  npm install
  

• Create a .env.development file with the following content:

  DB_HOST=localhost
  DB_USER=myuser
  DB_PASSWORD=mypassword
  DB_NAME=mydatabase
  DB_PORT=5432
  

• To start in development mode:

  npm run dev
  

• Access the APIs at:

  http://localhost:3000/v1/api/
  

Testing

• Running the test:

  npm test

APIs Hints:

• In Signup API, the role could be ADMIN or READER; only admins can create books.
• In Login API, you just need the right email and password.
• In create book API, user has to be an ADMIN and book name has to be unique.
• In add interval API, user could be an ADMIN or a READER, and user has to provide a bookName and a valid interval.
• In get recommendations API, user could be an ADMIN or a READER, top number of recommendations could be customized using the query top.
