FlipReady is a BakkesMod plugin for Rocket League. Enabling the plugin will display text on screen that indicates whether you are eligible to air flip/double jump or not. After jumping, a gauge bar will appear and decay from full to empty to represent the time your air flip/double jump is active. Settings include customizing colors, sizes, and the location of text/gauge bar.
Due to the unfairness/imbalance this can cause in competitive play, this plugin is only active within freeplay/exhibition game modes.
- Download the plugin here by either clicking "Install with BakkesMod" or "Download Files" using the drop down arrow next to it.
- If you selected "Download Files," extract the zipped folder and copy
FlipReady.dll
(this should be the sole file in the folder) to yourbakkesmod/plugins/
folder, most likely located at:C:/Users/{username}/AppData/Roaming/bakkesmod/bakkesmod/plugins/
- Plugin will load automatically with Rocket League while BakkesMod is active. The plugin can be disabled through the F2 settings window or through the F6 console with
plugin unload flipready
. Similarly, the plugin can be reenabled through the F2 settings window or through the F6 console withplugin load flipready
.
The settings can be accessed through F2 > Plugins > FlipReady
. The current customizable settings include colors, sizes, and location of the element. Once altered, buttons will appear to reset the value to default or revert back to the last saved value. Hovering over these buttons will show what the value will be reset/reverted to. Default values can also be seen in the Commands section. Hovering over or selecting a specific setting will display the appropriate element (e.g. the gauge bar will be shown when adjusting gauge bar length).
- The color of both the "flip" and "no flip" text displays, as well as the gauge bar, can be altered to any RGBA, HSLA, or Hexcode color of your choice.
- The color picker on the right allows the option to manually input color values or drag to select. Keep in mind that alpha (opacity) can also be adjusted. The RGBA value boxes can be dragged to scrub through values or ctrl+clicked to manually type them in.
- Like colors, the sizes of the "flip" and "no flip" texts, as well as the gauge bar, can be adjusted.
- Drag the sliders to scrub through values or ctrl+click to manually type a value.
- Direction of growth depends on location of element (e.g. element aligned to the left will grow to the right, element aligned to the bottom will grow up).
- Decay direction effects the direction in which the bar will empty.
- The location of the element can be changed by simply clicking on the desired position. Certain locations are offset to accommodate interface features like the boost meter and ball cam indicator.
- As stated previously, location affects the direction of growth when resizing.
- Click "SAVE ALL" at the top of the settings page to save all the current settings to BakkesMod. This will write to the
config.cfg
file located in thebakkesmod/cfg/
folder. All settings are saved as CVars (don't worry if you don't know what those are). - Click "RESET ALL" at the top of the settings page to reset all settings to default. A confirmation modal will appear to prevent accidental resets. If you do unintentionally reset your settings, you can still revert them back with the "REVERT" buttons before saving.
- After clicking either of these buttons, a toast will appear in the top right corner to confirm the action. To display toasts, you must first navigate to the "Misc" tab in the F2 settings window and check "Enable notifications."
Settings are found in the F2 settings window; however, you may also use the following commands in the F6 console
