Setting additional features

There are some additional features that aren't required to play but can improve your experience.

⚠️ Most of the instructions below only work with Prism Launcher!

Adding DeckyCraft to Gaming Mode

It allows you to run DeckyCraft from Gaming Mode.

Adding Prism Launcher to Steam

1. Run your Steam Deck in Desktop Mode.
2. Open Applications menu (Steam Deck logo in the lower left corner of the screen).
3. Find Prism Launcher.
4. Right-click it.
   • If you're not using mouse, press left trackpad.
5. Select Add to Steam.

Changing Prism Launcher to DeckyCraft in Steam

1. Open Steam app (still in Desktop Mode).
2. Find Prism Launcher.
3. Right-click it.
4. Select Properties.
5. (optional but recommended) Change name from Prism Launcher to DeckyCraft.
6. In the launch options, add -l <instance_id> at the end (without less-then and grather-then symbols!), e.g. -l DeckyCraft_1.19.3-23032.
   • To find instance_id, open Prism Launcher, right-click on the instance you want to know the ID of, and then click on Instance Folder within the context menu. The name of the folder that opened is instance_id.
