# DocDoc

Welcome to your new gem! In this directory, you'll find the files you need to be able to package up your Ruby library into a gem. Put your Ruby code in the file `lib/doc_doc`. To experiment with that code, run `bin/console` for an interactive prompt.

TODO: Delete this and the text above, and describe your gem
A Doc[tor] for your Doc[ument]s with ~invalid~ links.

## Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

```ruby
gem 'doc_doc'
```
$ gem install doc_doc
```
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
## Usage
$ gem install doc_doc
```
$ doc_doc 'https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/wiki/Logging' --stay-within 'https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/wiki' > invalid_links.json
```
## Usage
`invalid_links.json` identifies links that could use a little doctoring:
```json
{
links: [
{
parentText: 'Please see the capabilities page for more information about Firefox specific capabilities.',
linkText: 'capabilities page',
href: '../DesiredCapabilities',
page: 'https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/wiki/Logging',
error: {
type: 'http',
status: 404
}
}
]
}
```
TODO: Write usage instructions here
Doc Doc aims to find links that:
- lead to pages that do not load (http statuses in the 400 or 500 ranges)
- lead to pages without the elements referenced by the url fragment
