Decentralized Application available on gaka-chu.online
Gaka-chu project is students manifesto of independent economical robot agent. Gaka-chu paintings auction was presented first time in MIT Media lab on Symposium on Blockchain for Robotics and AI Systems in Dec 4, 2019.
Robot manipulator KUKA model KR6 R900 was launched to start painting via transaction over Robonomics Parachain on latest version of Kusama testnet Rococo.
Robonomics network full cycle of economical interaction between humans and robots now working on Ethereum. Auction process realized via Robonomics Smart contracts on Ethereum mainnet.
The painting process was recorded and published via IPFS and hashes of data stored on public blockchain of Ethereum and Robonomics Parachain testnet.
All steps on the way to prepare industrial manipulator, user application, and auction provider realized on the Robonomics platform. All communication happens over the Robonomics network provider's infrastructure and under Robonomics protocol specification. As result, we built a multiagent system with human-to-robot communication over the new age internet technologies described above.

Developing technologies in the field of machine learning and neural networks allow robotized systems to show previously unattainable results in control and collaboration with humans. Robots are slowly beginning to work in close proximity with humans, and due to blockchain technologies, they also become direct participants in our economy. Gaka-chu is an independent economic agent thanks to robonomics contracts. Gaka-chu is able to generate images independently, but has no rights to its works. In this regard, We, group of ITMO students led by Alexandr Kapitonov, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Infocommunication Technologies, give up the rights to works created by the robot-artist “Gaka-chu”.
