+In November 2023 a part of the maintainers decided to give OpenCollective a try, after previous Ideas to form a legal entity had failed for needing to much initial effort and not having enough guaranteed return.
+OpenCollective allows us to collect funding without needing a legal entity by offering fiscal hosts which work as a middleman. This also means, we have to provide 10% of sponsoring as a fee for this service.
