It seems that Jude Boachie took notice of the UI and was intrigued by it(I think🤔), which led to him requesting that I give it a try. It could be that he saw potential in the UI or simply wanted to see how it works. Regardless, the interest in the UI was a good sign that building the app was worth exploring.
