- clone the respository: git clone
- download the vscode extension live server
- make the changes in the appropriate file (main page changes will usually be made to index.html)
- launch the website locally using the live server extension to test your changes
- push your changes to the repo
- git flow to committing changes: --> git status (check your local changes) --> git add . (add all changed files to be commited) --> git commit -m "your commit message here" (commit your changes) --> git push (push changes to remote repository)
