This repo contain patch and PKGBUILD for making gifsicle packge on arch linux
This patch is for following error when running gifview -w root or gifview --new-window root:

  X Error of failed request:  BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
  Major opcode of failed request:  3 (X_GetWindowAttributes)
  Resource id in failed request:  0xffffffff
  Serial number of failed request:  7
  Current serial number in output stream:  8
