Fixes:

  • Fixed issue with pings. Yuo should not be disconnected as much now.
  • Server ip could be shown wrong from side menu after switching on and off wifi.
  • Some data fixes.

Improvements:

  • "Shuffle & draw" text added on empty attack modifier draw pile.
  • Can hide ally deck from main menu if it was added extra.
  • Automatically add ally deck on scenarios with 'escort' allies that have attacks.

Features:

  • Shuffle unrevealed cards option added: From card menu, tap an undrawn card.
  • Battle Goal remider on start of a scenario (can turn off from settings).
  • Option to not use ally attack modifier deck in OG Gloomhaven campaigns.
  • Option to use original hazardous terrain calculation in OG Gloomhaven campaigns.

Note: apple is the worst. If I never see another provisioning profile or certificate issue again it's too soon.

Fixes:

  • some minor data fixes
  • minor layout fixes
  • adding escorts or objectives would cause monster health and such to reset
  • difficulty now applied when removing character (and when starting a scenario for good measure)
  • total round count would erroneously increase when round is reset during a round due to special rules. This would cause further issues where monster ability cards would be drawn again if a new monster using same ability deck is added at the same time.

Fixes:

  • some minor data fixes
  • Frosthaven scenario 128 was not functioning
  • App could get soft locked (black screen or no input possible) in a couple of situations when connected and a monster standee is removed
  • bane condition icon animation was not always showing correctly
  • can no longer decrease max health below 1
  • monsters could in specific circumstances end up in the wrong order in the main list

Improvements:

  • some data improvements (errata now mentioned as First Printing, among others)
  • Condition icons now show animations also when connected
  • new non-black backgrounds for certain Frosthaven Characters.
  • Main screen scroll bars now at the edge (can mouse/swipe scroll from empty space)
  • shimmer effect is off by default on mobile. It turns out the effect is draining battery for some weird reason, but no fix for that yet.

Features:

  • Support for Random Dungeons (Select from Scenario list for applicable Campaigns. 3 content cards drawn randomly. You will still need to draw random room cards)
  • Save menu. Find it from the Settings menu. You may save or delete or name saved states. The app will auto save the current state after every action anyway, so this is useful only when playing several campaigns, or if you want to preserve a particular situation.
  • Difficulty Settings: From level select menu, you may set -1, 0, +1, +2, +3 difficulty. Will automatically apply when changing character or character level.
  • List of available IP's to choose from when starting server.
  • Total round count. Visible when the round counter is reset by scenario mechanics.
  • Ko-fi link added due to high demand. Please do not send me money unless you really want to.

Known Issues:

  • the difficulty level feature, while initially set to 'on' will not take into effect until the user either change difficulty settings, adds a character or change a character's level.
  • the difficulty level feature does not update correctly when removing a character...
  • on Linux, animations may play extra fast when system animations are set to off.
  • the text shimmer feature has been discovered to actually drain battery ( I'm as surprised as you). If your device battery is draining, consider turning this off.

1.8.7 - It's been a while

A fair bit of refactoring ( code restructuring) has been done. It shouldn't matter, but please report any issues found.

Improvements:

  • drag to change hp disabled in draw phase to not impede fat fingering the initiative.

  • set level and loot deck menus now available from the main menu as well.
  • allies deck can be added from main menu (in case there is extra need)
  • custom scenario when started from Frosthaven campaign have Random scenario loot deck set up.

  • can put last loot card back into draw pile
  • setting to hide modifier decks
  • can now remove specific monster amd cards from the discard, by tapping the card.

Fixes:

  • More than 2 devices can now get updates while connected (doh)
  • potential non responsive state fixed when undo while in auto standee menu
  • auto standee menu was not updating the nr's properly for all cases.
  • Modifier card animations now play on clients again when drawn on other device

Improvements:

  • Network error messages and messages about disconnecting are now sticky

Regressions:

  • modifier card animations will sometimes play at the wrong time on clients

Fixes:

  • giant piranha pig: use correct deck
  • clear text notice when switching scenario
  • special characters in character names should be safe now
  • corner case: no null error when trying to connect before
  • loot deck not removed on custom scenario start
  • connected: 1st draw shows animation for both allies and enemy deck (can still happen on redo)
  • connected: card draw animation plays when adding curse (can still happen on redo)
  • corner case with random standees and special named monsters sharing same standees, being assigned same number.
