I'm Ankur Gupta, a machine learning scientist and engineer. I have a PhD in Chemical Engineering and a graduate level minor in Mathematics. During my PhD, my research focused on numerical optimization, stochastic simulations, and Bayesian inference as well. After my PhD, I have been working on launching Deep Learning-based products with a focus on natural language processing. I have 9+ years of industry experience, 6+ years of experience writing & deploying production-quality code, and numerous patents & peer-reviewed publications. I am passionate about conducting ML research as well as teaching machine learning and programming.
