Editing Shapes

There are two basic methods for editing a shape:

  1. By editing the parameters (e.g. changing the radius of a sphere).
  2. By moving, rotating or scaling a shape.

In this tutorial we will edit the parameters of the shape. Let's start with a 10x10x10 cube:

You can edit the parameters of the shape by double clicking it. When you double-click the shape, you will notice the blue cursors appear again:

It is hard to see, but there are actually two cubes being shown.

  1. The original, yellow cube
  2. A blue preview of the edited cube.

When you can drag the origin, or the cursor for the size, you will see the original and the new version:

You can click the "Ok" button to confirm the change, and cancel the change by clicking "Cancel" (or by pressing ESC on the keyboard).

Now the origin has been moved, and the depth has changed:

Lets move onto moving, rotating and scaling shapes.
