=== Mooberry Story === Contributors: mooberrydreams Donate link: http://www.mooberrydreams.com/products/mooberry-story Tags: author, authors, writer, writers, story, creative writing, fiction, serial, book Requires at least: 3.8.0 Tested up to: 5.9 Stable tag: 1.8.5 License: GPLv2 or later License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html Organize multiple posts into a story. Make it easy for readers to find your stories, including older ones. == Description == Mooberry Story helps you post an ongoing story to your blog by grouping the posts into a single story. Display a table of contents, re-arrange the order of the posts within the story, and draw attention to your story with sidebar widgets. After activating Mooberry Story, use the Stories menu to add stories to your website. Write the chapters/episodes/etc. as blog posts, and select the story they belong to. If you have stories you've already posted on your blog, you can still use Mooberry Story to organize them simply by: 1. Adding the story in the Stories menu 2. Finding all the posts that belong to that story 3. Selecting the story on each post and updating the post 4. Re-order the posts on the Edit Story page if necessary == Installation == 1. Upload the entire `mooberry-story` directory to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress == Screenshots == 1. Add Stories to your blog via the Stories menu. Several customization options available. 2. Each chapter of your story is a new blog post. Simply select the story it belongs to from a drop down list. 3. Each story gets its own page to display the title, cover art, summary, and table of contents. 4. Each chapter of your story displays like a blog post, with a little extra formatting for the titles. 5. Each chapter has navigation links at the top and bottom for the next chapter, previous chapter, and table of contents. 6. Two widgets and multiple options allow you to highlight stories on your sidebar so readers can find them easily. == Changelog == = 1.9 = * Added: Option to not show word count = 1.8.5 = * Fixed: Allow scheduled chapters = 1.8.4 = * Fixed: CMB2 file capitalization error preventing Mooberry Story from working without Mooberry Book Manager - 1.8.3 = * Fixed: CMB2 file capitalization error preventing Mooberry Story from working without Mooberry Book Manager = 1.8.1 = * Fixed: Fixed bug not allowing chapters to be reordered = 1.8 = * Added: Allow individual chapters to exclude prepended name (chapters, etc.) = 1.7.1 = * Fixed: fixed introduced bug that was affecting Mooberry Story and Mooberry Book Manager = 1.7 = * Updated: updated CMB2 library for PHP8/WP5.9 compatibility = 1.6.3 = * Updated: added story post content to TOC page to be compatible with Elementor = 1.6.2 = * Updated: Updated .pot/po files = 1.6.1 = * Updated: Added internationalization strings = 1.6 = * Updated for Wordpress 5.6 = 1.5 = * Added: Now displays meta data on TOC page = 1.2.2 = * Fixes errors using the_title in a custom WP_Query = 1.2.1 = * Fixes errors when creating story and first post * Updates for WP 4.4 = 1.2 = * Appends story title to post title only if not viewing single, otherwise just displays story title = 1.1 = * Fixes bug when saving posts which causes website to hang up * Adds Brazilian Portuguese translation = 1.0 = * Initial Version
