This is the first release of the Crums Timechain client/server software, a key-less approach for cryptographic timestamps.

  • crum. The multi-chain client.
  • ergd. The timechain REST server.

Download options

The self-contained executables (containing a Java VM) are the quickest way to install the software. Alternatively, if you have Java 22 or later installed, you can use the platform-independent .jar files.

Installation

Both crum and ergd are command-line programs. Adjust your PATH environment variable after the install to include their bin directories.

Documentation

Use -h and help <command> to explore either tool. See also the online docs.
