ICARO Project

The project ICARO (traffIc and urbanization effeCts on temperAture in the uRban envirOnment) started in June 2017 as an application for the DATA FOR CLIMATE ACTION CHALLENGE (D4CA). D4CA was promoted by the UN Global Pulse with the aim of connecting researchers around the world with data and tools from leading companies to enable data-driven climate solutions.

ICARO Project Team is composed of Professors, Researchers and PhD students working in the fields of Geomatics, Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
