This script was developed to get the courses names of UNIVEM college showing how is the scraper behavior on a web page.
It's a simple code that makes a request on a web page and extracts some informations from it.
The Gem Mechanize is necessary to run this script.
There are 2 ways to install this gem:
- By running
gem install mechanize - By downloading the gem and running
gem install path/to/gem/mechanize-2.7.3.gem
To run the script, just run the command: ruby scraper.rb on the terminal in the same folder the script is located.
