For analogue DJs with a goldfish memory (like me): Synapse is a web app helping you to make the best of your Vinyl collection.

First Challenges:

1. Connect with Discogs and retrieve my collection
2. Display my collection and retrieve information on songs
3. Create a Database (Firebase or airtable) to store user actions like:
   • Relation between tracks
   • Rating of relation

Ideas:

Consolidate Relations and recommendation algorythm :

• Include DJs charts (already existing in the net - like Boilerroom, Records shops, Resident Advisor etc.)
• Include of course user selections
• Define parameters of the recommendation algorithm:
  • Users/DJs I follow
  • Recommend from same label (Relation between labels -> Same artists on another label)
