Curated apps

To have a somewhat successful start, it would be good to have a suite of apps curated. Here are some ideas:

• Todo
• Bookmarks
• Wiki
• Contacts
• Dropbox
• Feedreader
• Spreadsheet
• Kanban/Agile board
• ...

Ok, so this is very common ground. How do we sell this to users?

• Standard couchapp pitch: Can run on your own devices out of the cloud.
• Sync pitch. They will sync across all your devices.
• Integration pitch: From your wiki, if you have the todo app installed, you can add todos. Associate dropbox files with contacts, etc
• Customization pitch. Don't quite like the contact app? Garden lets you pitch a feature to the developer, offer payment. Developer forks does customization and deploys back to garden. People can see all forks of a couchapp.
