I'm a front-end and embedded software developer from Kentucky.
I enjoy working on emergent web technologies, Arduino, Raspberry Pi,
multipurpose languages, and more.
I started my career in software in 2010 building client apps in a SCRUM
shop with Ruby on Rails.
Some of the tools I like to use in various contexts. This is by no means comprehensive. I regularly switch between modalities and I regularly pick up or stop using different tools all the time.
I like to build web UIs and static sites with these tools.
I prefer these tools for building APIs.
I'm comfortable using these database technologies.
I thrive on agile teams and have worked on an agile team in some capacity or other since 2010. I prefer traditional SCRUM but have also worked on extreme programming teams, waterfall, and kanban, as well.
I like to build D.I.Y. hardware to solve everyday problems using Arduino microcontrollers. I particularly enjoy the MySensors library.
I've spent a significant amount of my career implementing enterprise CMS systems, building front-ends using headless CMS such as WordPress and Drupal.
Though I have not actively been a content-creator for many years, these are some of the tools I prefer whenever I have to work in that capacity.
These are a few of the tools I use on my home network and for my home's smart features.
