Meta2D is a Javascript framework for writing real-time graphical web applications with the Canvas 2d Context.
The primary class is the MetaContext, which extends the CanvasRenderingContext2D API with utilities for layers, entities, events, and cacheing.
A MetaContext does everything that Canvas 2d Context does and more.
Install python and the rake build utility and run:
rake
This will generate a single Javascript source:
meta2d.js
You can build the documentation with:
rake document
This will generate some html files, most notably:
docs/api/index.html
