This application is built on NodeJs, uses Express as the webserver and is currently deployed on Heroku

##Setting up the development environment

####Step 1: Install NodeJs from https://nodejs.org/download/

####Step 2: Install the Heroku toolbelt from https://toolbelt.heroku.com/ for both local development and remote testing on Heroku.

####Step 3: Ask Arzav (@arzavj) for the file with all configuration details and if you want access to the Heroku/AWS instance.

####Step 4: Inside the root folder of the application (avaaz), type the following commands in the terminal

1. npm install
2. foreman start web

####Step 5: Visit http://localhost:5000 in a browser.
