This application is built on NodeJs and uses express as the webserver.

Step 1: Install NodeJs You can optionally refer to http://howtonode.org/how-to-install-nodejs

Step 2: Inside the root folder of the application (avaaz) Type the following command in the terminal

PORT= node app.js Eg: PORT=9999 node app.js

Step 3: Visit http://localhost: eg: http://localhost:9999

you should find the application running on your box
