Mingle Disco Button

Welcome to the Mingle Disco Button Project! This project is designed to teach you how to use every piece of equipment in the Lab for Interconnected Devices. When you are finished you will have the basic knowledge it takes to be a lab manager and you will have a cool project to show off to your friends.

The button has a NRF51822 micro controller that also has a 2.4 GHz radio. The button listens to see if there are other buttons around. When you get near another button your LED color will start to mix and change to the same color. When you walk away form the other button each of you will turn back to your original colors. The color you start out with is randomized and changes each time the power is cycled.

This project includes all of the files you will need to create the project from scratch. Once you get familiar with it or if you want a more advanced experience please feel free to make modifications to your project.
