Open the App.js file to start writing some code. You can preview the changes directly on your phone or tablet by clicking the Run button or use the simulator by clicking Tap to Play. When you're done, click Save and share the link!
When you're ready to see everything that Expo provides (or if you want to use your own editor) you can Export your project and use it with expo-cli.
All projects created in Snack are publicly available, so you can easily share the link to this project via link, or embed it on a web page with the Embed button.

Purpose : Our mobile Application “Buddy” acts as virtual mentor or friend for people with neurodevelopmental disorder and hence we call it “Buddy”. It works as a translator that translates pictorial text to regular text and vice-versa to fill the communication gap.
Problem Statement People with this disorder find difficulty in understanding and comprehending meaning of long paragraph/textual conversation. Additionally, it is difficult for them to understand the tones at sentence and paragraph level. People with this disorder find difficulty conversing their thoughts through traditional language rules because their way of understanding world is different. But Picture can be used as a medium to converse with them effectively. Solution and implementation Problem : People with this disorder find difficulty in understanding and comprehending meaning of long paragraph/textual conversation. Additionally, it is difficult for them to understand the tones at sentence and paragraph level. Solution: “Buddy” (App) allows users to just Copy Sentence in a team meeting app(slack, MS teams) and instantly get the comprehensive meaning in English language via Tap to Understand feature in following way
Identify a variety of tones in the sentence including emotional aspect, language style which can further refine and improve communications in virtual team meetings(eg on slack, MS teams). Provides Visualisation of words by providing related image that describe the word to get comprehensive Sentence meaning. It also provide additional related content (Wikipedia article) for better understanding. Additionally, it assist by providing text to speech functionality. Problem: People with this disorder find difficulty in conversing their thoughts through traditional language rules because their way of understanding world is different. Solution: Translator for PICHAT to normal text and vice-versa These features allow people with such disorder to express their thoughts using pichat language which is more intuitive and logical for them to interpret things connected via connectors which is later converted to normal text that can be shared with other employees like normal language.
